We’ll this is it – my last post for a few days. Tomorrow is The Big Move. We’ve taken a few things over all ready, and the race car goes today.

The house is a collection of boxes and as soon as I am done with this post, the compter will be boxed up. Cable won’t be installed at the new house until Wedsday, so there will be no email and no postings until then.

Hopefully the install will go ok. The house is fully wired, but we are switching from Comcast to Wide Open West. I’m sure they’ll want to run their own wires. I’ll just need to keep the installer in check. – they like to bore new holes for no apparent reason.

Finally it is done: our house is sold and a new one bought.

We closed on both houses today. While it makes for a long day, it is finally over with. We didn’t ever think we’d reach this point, and even today there was some mild drama. (more…)
