It’s Official

I don’t like old Genesis.

I’ve been told a number of times, because of the types of music I listen to, that I’d like old Genesis (the 70s stuff). I just tried listening to Trick of the Tail. Couldn’t finish. Too boring.

There, I said it.

And Your Phone Number?

Remember when you could go to the store and just buy something? No filling out forms; no reciting name, address and phone number? I do. And in some stores you still don’t need all that. So why do some (Radio Shack and Best Buy leap to mind) insist on collecting such information? Oh, I know why they want it, but they don’t need it to take my money. (more…)

Pernod

Database Design - Round 3

OK, so it’s been a while, but my novice PHP programming skills have been moving (slowly) along. For my initial foray into database web development, I’ve chosen to build a dynamic wish list. Input from Patrick helped me set up the core tables in MySQL and SAMS Teach Yourself PHP, MySQL and Apache helped with the rest. (more…)
