Kings of Pain
Sunday brought stitches for me,
Monday a broken toe for she.
Tuesday’s the day for scorching hot pan
With which I have burnt my hand.

Ever try living in your own house without touching any thing? That is what I am trying to do. I am contagious.
Last Thursday, Olivia woke with a 100°ree;+ temperature. I stayed home from work with her. Friday afternoon, I felt the sinus congestion settling in my head. No biggie, just the run of the mill rhino virus.
Then woke up today with an eye crusted shut. Self inflicted pink eye.
Armed with a sheaf of paper after a quick visit to the doctor, I purchased my $60 worth of drugs — eye drops, antibodies for the sinus thing, and a refill on my allergy meds. In general I feel OK, except I can’t actually tell you what I’ve done today. The clock tells me it is after 3:00 pm. I know I watched a little TV. I have mucked on the computer. I have read. I can’t really account for about 4 other hours.
Hopefully the medicine will clear this crud out soon. The doctor did sideline me for two days, so I have tomorrow off as well. Hopefully I’ll be slightly more productive.
Just a shot of Olivia with massive static hair shaking her head
around. But really I’m just testing some Flickr/blog functions.
Some stats from yesterday’s snow storm:
Just to clarify, the drive statistics are one-way, work to home. Yup, it sucked.
